About Your Therapist

Victoria Bitar, PMHNP, BC, CNHP is an advance practice nurse with a background in the healing arts for over 20 years. Her Dharma Therapy practice areas are in alternative and complementary health and healing of the mind, body, and spirit.

Victoria is trained in intuitive medicine, alternative psychotherapy, homeopathy, acupressure, sacred sound and vibrational medicine. Victoria is also a Reiki Master and a life long student and teacher of ayurveda, holistic health practices, and alternative healing modalities.

Victoria is a certified natural health professional (CNHP), Certified IGM therapeutic acupressure practitioner, and holds national certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She trained in CrainoSacral Therapy and SomatoEmotional Release at the Great River CranioSacral Therapy Institute with Ron Wish, MD.

Victoria is a graduate of Seton Hall University and Pace University. She is licensed as an advance practice nurse in New York and New Jersey. She maintains a professional practice of working with emotionally challenged children in Newark, New Jersey as well as college faculty at a nursing school in New Jersey.
